JESUS FREAK!!!

Jacqulin got to attend the "Toby Mac's Winter Wonderslam" concert a couple of weeks ago. She went with the 5th graders from church. If you have never seen a Christian concert this is the one to see. They had about 6 acts performing with of course, Toby Mac concluding the show. We took the kids a couple of years ago to see Toby Mac. It is very impressive. Jacqulin had a great time. She's the one on the far right.

Spring is here.

What a beautiful weekend we have had. I know on the calendar the official day of Spring has been celebrated, however, we all know that it is very possible to have a few more cold days.
Bert took advantage of the beautiful day by obliterating the 'honey-do' list. If there was something that needed to be done outside, around the house, he did it.

So, this was the first grass cutting of the season. I just thought it would be fun to get a picture of Bert in his layers mowing the lawn. Sort of a before picture. In 3 or 4 months, when it is say 95-98 degrees, we could see the difference a few weeks makes and how many layers he will shed.
I wasn't going to post this many pictures of him but he started sticking his tongue out at me and now I have to post them all. By the way, he is so sore tonight he can hardly move. I love Spring.

Take me out to the Ball game.....

The Freedom Middle School Stars took the field Friday, March 20, 2009 and shows the Antioch team who was boss. It was a beautiful day to play ball, a little chilly in the stands but still very nice. It's not hard to sit in the stands when your boy is doing so well.
Jacqulin was there without complaint. She was the official photographer. It's easier to stay warm if you are running around.

Heather is at it again.

My friend, Heather, is having another baby. It seems like just yesterday when we were waiting on Hannah to arrive. Grandma Nene and I had a baby shower at my house. Jeanine actually brought the entire party from South Carolina. She was so great, all I had to do was have my house clean.
Jeanine had a perfect boy cake made that looks like Hunter's bedroom set. It has a bear and a jeep, what more could a boy want?
Jacqulin and Hannah were great helpers. Jacqulin made sure we got a picture of Heather because, even though she is wearing a very slimming black color, Hunter is very big in there.

We are so excited to meet you baby Hunter. You have a big sister that is going to be the greatest helper. The way it looks you should be here any day. Can't wait.

We miss Australia!

O.K. we've actually never been and don't really miss it but, miss the idea of going. It was a fun contest and fun to dream about. There were 34,000 applicants from 22 countries (I think). So, to be one of those was fun. Looking at the videos I think they left out a criteria. Apparently, you had to be in your early 20s to have a shot. I know I'm not much older than that (at least in my own mind), but not quite what they were looking for. Maybe next time they will have a contest for the "most responsible," or the best "cruise director mom."
Thanks for looking at my video and rating it.

A house full of Worship leaders?!

Two weeks ago I published pictures of Jacqulin helping lead worship in the children's worship room. Well, this past Wednesday night Luke played drums for the middle school worship service. Our church has recently put together a youth worship band. Actually had enough kids to put two bands together. They were really awesome.

Bert plays drums for our adult worship services and I sing in the choir. I guess I didn't think that our kids would have the opportunity to be this involved in worship until they got older. We are so pleased with our church and the time and energy they have poured into our kids.

Our Hannah Night!

Heather had a shopping spree at the crazy kids consignment sale in Franklin. I think she was in line to pay for about 4 hours! Whew! Hope Hannah and Hunter got a lot of cheap clothes. We are glad she was willing to wait in line because we got Hannah.

This was really a win win situation for me. I got to spend some time with Hannah and I sent her home with the Fire Station. Hee, hee!
