We believe that the power of the name and blood of Jesus will save your soul and that is the only thing that will. We also believe that baptism is the first act of obedience after you have asked Jesus into your heart. Jacqulin asked Jesus into her heart about 2 years ago. But, the baptistry at our church is up very high. She was a little freaked out, but she really wanted to get baptized. Because we knew that our Huntsville family would be here for her violin recital we decided to schedule her baptism then too. Our children's pastor, Shane Pass, talked with Jacqulin and then baptized her. He told her that we should confess Jesus with our mouth. So, while she was in the baptistry he asked her why she was there. It was so wonderful to hear her sweet little voice say, "because I asked Jesus into my heart."
