The kids have had several days off for Fall break. We had tried to plan a trip, but it wasn't a good time for Bert. Plus, when you stay home you can sleep late and just take it easy. It was great to sleep late especially when my family calls me the 'vacation nazi." I seem to try to pack a lot into a trip.
We decided to take a trip to Kentucky one day. There is a dairy farm called Chaney's that has a corn maze.
"Jacqulin, is there a Holstein in there?" Throughout the maze there were mailboxes set up. Inside the mailbox there were different stickers of different cows. At the beginning of the maze we were given a card, if you filled your card with the right cow stickers you got ice cream at the end.
Cut into the maze was a barn with a tractor and the words "Got Milk"
We had a great time. The ice cream was a great reward for all of our walking and searching for cows.
God blessed us with the most beautiful weather. Not too hot and not too cold. Wonderful!
